What we collect

• Recipient and relationship details you enter for song personalization.
• Story details, inside jokes, style preferences, lyric edits, and generated audio.
• Your email address when you request a preview, checkout, or delivery.
• Order metadata. Payment details are processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

How we use it

We use your information to create lyrics and music, store previews and final songs, process checkout, deliver the gift page, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

Local browser storage and analytics

The guided intake saves unfinished answers in local browser storage (localStorage) on the device you are using. The site also stores a shortcut to an unfinished draft. You can use “Clear saved progress” in the intake and “Clear this saved shortcut” beside the resume control at any time. Clearing browser storage does not delete an order already saved on our servers.

We use product analytics and performance measurements to understand page visits, funnel progress, errors, and service health. A separate analytics cookie lets us connect these steps on the same browser without using the cookie that controls draft ownership. We store only a one-way hash of the analytics cookie with events, and do not put purchaser access tokens, story details, lyrics, or email addresses into analytics events.

Unlisted links

Delivered gift pages are unlisted rather than public directory pages. Anyone who receives an unlisted gift link may be able to play or download that delivered song, so share it only with people you trust. Purchaser-only review, revision, and refund controls require separate authorization.

Third-party service providers

We use trusted third-party service providers to operate the service, including hosting, database/storage, payment processing, email delivery, background job processing, fraud prevention, analytics, lyric generation, and music generation. We share only the information needed for those providers to perform their services for us.

AI-generated content

Because the service creates personalized AI-generated songs, the names, memories, style preferences, lyric edits, and instructions you submit may be processed by AI generation systems solely to create and improve your requested song experience.

Data retention and deletion

Intake, order, support, payment evidence, generated media, and gift pages are retained as reasonably needed to fulfill the order, keep its share link working, prevent fraud, reconcile provider activity, and meet legal obligations. Retention may differ by record type. You can request deletion of eligible data and songs by replying to a delivery email or contacting support from the site.

No selling personal data

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only with service providers needed to run the product, comply with law, protect the service, or with your consent.

Your choices

Do not submit information you are not comfortable using for a personalized song. If you want a gift page removed, a song deleted, or your contact information updated, use the contact form and we will help as reasonably required by applicable law.
